SeaEagle 5 - Sailing Charters and Holidays
 SeaEagle 5
Your charter boat
SeaEagle 5, launched in May 2008, is a custom-built sailing catamaran that is comfortable, spacious and stable.

At 15 meters length and 8 meters beam, the wide decks allow good viewing opportunities for everyone as well as plenty of space to relax.

For overnight cruising, we can take a maximum 7 passengers, depending on configuration, but prefer to cruise with just 6 passengers in 3 cabins with comfortable full size beds.
There are two hot water showers on board, as well as uncomplicated toilets.

For day or half day cruising we limit the number of passengers to 20 giving everyone our personal attention.

Other facilities include an outdoor barbeque, a sound system and sit on kayaks for use in sheltered bays.

Refreshments and meals are prepared and served from our well-equipped galley.

The Sirocco dingy transports passengers between the vessel and shores that have no jetty, enabling you to explore the remotest of beaches.

The Crew
All our crew have considerable experience sailing and cruising in Tasmanian waters as well as the east coast of Australia

The owner/Skipper is Phil Gardiner, who also built the boat.  Phil holds a Master 5 ticket, as required by MAST to sail a vessel of this size with passengers aboard, and has cruised the east coast of Australia for more than 10 years.

Deckie, galley slave and co-owner  Marion Madams  sails the boat with Phil and is planning to get her coxswain's ticket in 2010.

We occasionally call on some of Tasmania's finest sailors to help with voyaging or large charter parties.

One day we'll stand still long enough to have our mugshots taken for this page!
